Season 3 of K.C. Undercover was confirmed exclusively by People Magazine on August 1, 2016.[1] On November 1, 2016, Disney Channel officially confirmed the third season.[2] Production began on February 21st, and wrapped on September 30th, 2017. It premiered on July 7, 2017.
It was announced by a main cast member that the series had wrapped up on September 30, 2017.[3] The series finale was mentioned by Disney Channel in a promo in January 2018 and on Twitter using the hashtag "GoodbyeKCUndercover", officially ending the series.[4]
Plot
K.C. and her family of spies find themselves hiding from their enemy, Zane, and K.C.'s BFF, Marisa, is right there with them. It's also K.C. and Marisa's last year of high school. So while K.C. is focused on protecting the world from disasters, Marisa is focused on how she can make their senior year epic![5] Marisa also shows interest in becoming a spy.

Trivia
- Production started after Zendaya finished shooting Spider-Man: Homecoming and 'The Greatest Showman'. As well as Veronica Dunne with 'The Ninth Passenger'. Production began on February 15, 2017.[6]
- K.C. was a senior in high school this season.
- This season premiered the day that Zendaya's Spider-Man: Homecoming came out in theaters.
- This season premiered on Fridays, instead of Sundays, unlike the previous seasons.
- China Anne McClain guest starred this season.
- This was the second time the first episode had "Coopers" in the beginning, first being Coopers Reactivated!.
- This was the first and only season to start and end with a one-hour special.
- Kadeem Hardison directed an episode this season.
- The Opening Titles (theme song) changed this season, with slower speed and new background music.
- This season made K.C. Undercover the fourth Disney Channel Original Series to alter the theme song for a third season after Hannah Montana, A.N.T. Farm, and Girl Meets World.

- This is the only season where Zendaya wore her natural hair. In the previous seasons she wore a wig. Although she used her real hair in the Season 1 episode First Friend.
- Marisa’s Mother was introduced in this season.
- On the series finale premiere night, the hashtag #KCUndercover was trending on Twitter.
